GUAM RECOVERY
In early April 2020 the island of Guam was more than a month into a pandemic lockdown and the world was forced to cope with new realities. It was during this time a number of Guam small businesses and non-profits joined forces with the University of Guam and members of the Guam Visitors Bureau Board of Directors to prepare for Guam’s re-opening and long-term recovery in relation to the devastating impact of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The primary mission is to develop, in partnership with the University of Guam’s School of Business and Public Administration, a complementary hub that will serve as a nexus for such public-private partnership, talent resource synergy, and community engagement. This is a community driven effort born of a sincere desire to help our people of Guam and the Region. We want everyone to know that in the midst of these new norms we are still here working tirelessly to assure our visitors and our community the confidence that they will be safe.
